Location and travelling to the castle

By car: Coming from the Sterzing motorway exit, take the first exit at each of the two roundabouts in the direction of Brixen. Continue along the Brenner state road (ss12) in the direction of Brixen (approx. 3 km) and turn right at Reifenstein Castle in the direction of Elzenbaum. There is a car park on the right below the castle.

Parking: Parking spaces are available directly at the foot of the castle. From the car park it is only a 5-10 minute walk to the castle.

Public transport: Easily accessible by bus no. 310 every hour. It is a 15-minute walk from the bus stop to the castle. Please get off at the bus stop ‘Abzweigung Elzenbaum’, as there are several bus stops in Freienfeld. Here you can find the current bus timetable in PDF format:
